Uninstalling software

Hi if any 1 can help would be most sppreicated, i currently have Microsoft
office 2003 i would like to get rid of this but keep Word if possible. When i
go to add remove programs and select to delete this software it says this
patch could not be opened verify that the patch exists and that you can
access it or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid
windows installer package....

thank you for replying, i clicked on the link and installed Windows install
cleanup, selected Microsoft Office and now its gone, thanks for your help i
know where to come next time
