Uninstalling Microsoft TweakUI Powertool.

I had a superseded version of this Powertool installed and found a new
version to download at Microsoft. The instruction was to remove the previous
version before installing the new one. The problem began when I found the
old one was not listed in the Add/Remove programs section of the Control
Panel although it was in the All Programs List and opened and functioned
when clicked. No un-install function was found with it in the All Programs
list so I finally tried to uninstall with TuneUp Utilities Un-install
function and apparently succeeded; however, when I attempted to install the
new version the installer rejected installation stated that another version
had to be uninstalled first. I then used RegEdit to remove most registry
entries referring to the old TweakUI, but the installer tool still rejects
installation of the new one. What am I missing? Something is there to tell
the installer that a previous installation exists obviously. Where is it?
What do I do?
Thanks,
Gene K
