Uninstall problem - Programs and Features

Context menu for "Uninstall, Change, Repair" is not displayed when an
item in the list for Programs and Features. I tried third party
uninstaller program but this also did not work.
Is there better way than brute force method(deleting files and reg
entries) to uninstall it?

Did you try left clicking on it so it will highlight the program you
want to get rid of and then right clicking on it and (when that menu
pops up like it does whenever you right click on something) click on
uninstall
