Uninstall IE 6 in Windows XP

How can I uninstall IE 6 in XP so that I can install IE
5.5? I have an app that will not run in 6. IE 6 was
installed with the PC so it will not revert to a previous
version.
 
You can't do it. For all intents and purposes, you should consider WinXP
and IE6 one and the same application. Either use another PC to run the app
or upgrade the app so it's WinXP/IE6-compatible.
