Unidentified Yellow Icon

Here's the problem: When I click on some links, an
additional clicking sound is produced along with a jagged
yellow icon with a red exclamation point inside it.
These links do not work for me following the appearance
of this icon. What is the problem and how do I correct it?

This may be caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware, parasite).
Get AdAware and SpyBot and run them both. Keep them up to date.
