unexplained IE browser closing

I still have not resolved the problem with my browser. It still closes down when I go to some site.
Today I found an associated problem with OE, if I double click the title in a newsgroup the message opens as per it should but on doing it to a second message the browser closes down and I'm returned to the desk top. This happens every time I try opening a 2nd message.
I have checked on offending web pages for XSL Transform, ensured that only JIT compiler box is selected, found that if I deselect 3rd party proxy everything is OK but am unable to find any associated Malware and ran sfc/scannow.
Constantly rerunning Spybot and Adaware after ensuring they are up to date.
OS XP Home and IE6.
What haven't I done?? other than not got rid of the problem!!

Download "Hijack This!" [freeware] or download direct (below):

If you get a 404 error or Access denied, try:
http://216.180.252.218/~spywareinfo.com/downloads/tools/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location:
