Unexpected error by HotSpot Virtual Machine

Hi:
There was a box with red and blue letters popping up in the middle of the
screen
when I opened WindowsXP and couldn't access 'Welcome'
screen.
Then, I forced to close by pushing a button in the middle of the computer.
When Windows XP opened up on my second try, I noticed a small notepad
at the right bottom corner,

"An unexpected error has been detected by HotSpot Virtual Machine:
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xc0000005) at
pc=0.7c9010f3, pid=3892, tid=-2236"

Wonder what does it mean?

In the past, I downloaded Java, then is this causing the problem?

Today, the machine is running perfectly OK without any problem,
however I started to worry whether this leads to a serious problem,
like 'a Big Crash' without warning.

Any idea on this would be greately appreciated.

Hi,
Is there more to the error message similar to:
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (1.5.0_02-b09 mixed mode, sharing)
# Problematic frame:
# C [YPCLSP.dll+0x9558]

# C [YPCLSP.dll+0x9558] this could point to a program that Java is having a
problem with.

There are few possibilities to look over at
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/5000041400.xml

Hope this helps,

Hi:
Many thanks for the response.

The computer, HP Pavillion has been running good without any
problem, although the 'warning box' made me scared quite a bit.

At least, I know what this 'box' means, then I feel 'peace and safe'
after having read your response along with 'JAVA' web-site.

Thanks again.
