The full error on installation is : an unexpected error

Is this a hard drive or IDE channel failure? Or neither?

Any help is appreciated.

Remove your RAM and reinstall it, making sure it is properly seated in
the slot. If this does not help, its possible your RAM is defective or mismatched.
