Error Message while installing WindowsXP

The Message:

unexpected ERROR (0) occurred at line 1768 in
d:\xpclient\base\boot\setup\arcdisp.c.

What can I do to fix it?

It was a clean inatall on my desktop PC. However I did try
it on my laptop as an upgrade just to see what message I
would get. I got the same error message on both.
