hey ppl
Recently reinstalled windows xp instead of repairing it, however, I'm sure
there is an unistall feature so I can go to my previous version of windows XP
where I still had all my files etc...
Any help would be appreciated?

let me explain what I did...
I reinstalled Win XP over my previous Win XP setup...
Into the same folders etc..
Now when I boot up, I don't have my emails, drivers etc loaded...
In my windows directory, I do have afew folders with "$NTUninstallKB***etc",
which I presume is the files that will allow me to undo the latest
reinstallation...
So how do I do that so I have my previous Win XP setup with all my desktop
icons, Drivers, programs and data files?

They are gone, lost, not there. The ""$NTUninstallKB" files are updates.
When you reinstall as opposed to repairing, The Documents and Settings
folder where your email, documents, etc. were located is deleted and
replaced; along with the Windows folder.
If you have important info, stop using the computer and either run a file
retrieval utility or have a professional retrieval the info.

Unfortunately, it appears you overwrote your files by
reinstalling Windows XP. I believe your files are gone
for good and you'll have to reinstall your programs.
