I don't know who originally developed this game, but leave it to MSFT to
include an app in their OS that PENALIZES you for being too GOOD. Maybe
it's written in some rules someplace, but I figure if I'm good enough to
clear massive amounts of cards off the board, and there's not enough left to
fill all the stack spaces, I should still get the right to continue on with
the game, instead of having to kill it or take it as a loss simply because
the thing won't allow the next shuffle. Shouldn't I? WELL, SHOULDN'T
I?!?!?!?!?!

There...I feel much better now.

(hey, it beats writing about really real stuff, like business emails that
won't download or blue screens, though come to think about it, considering
how some people seem to focus their lives--or at least their online
energies--around these silly Windows add-in games, who says this is NOT
real...)

You'll learn to keep enough cards to deal. In the Plus!98 version, if the date was after 2039 it would only play one game. Drove me mum crazy as she never could solve this one game and tried for months till she asked me why it only had one game.

Guess you're not as good as me who always leaves enough cards.

[I deny ever being caught by this. Windows is bug free.]

HEY! I feel the same way.. what a joke.. I like the game and it should deal
the remainder of the cards regardless of what is or is not on the board..
hmmmmmmmm wonder what we can do about that??
