SP2 and Spider Solitaire

Having installed SP2 on my Athlon XP-M machine, Spider solitaire stops after
playing three or four games. I can eventually get Task Manager to start, and
it shows Spider.exe using 99% of CPU time. When I try to stop spider.exe,
its cpu usage drops to 00% then back to 99%, and it will not stop. The only
way out is to reboot.

Anyone else noticed this or similar problems?

Found a fix, which may work for other problem programs.
I tried to run it in Compatibility Mode. Unfortunately, as it is part of
Windows you can't do this directly.
So I made a copy of spider.exe and called it spider2000.exe, then set the
Compatibility to "Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 2000".
I now run spider2000.exe instead of spider.exe, and it works without any
problem.
