Uncompacting email

I needed to restore my hard drive so I compacted all my email and burnt the
*.dbx files onto a CD. Now I want to access them using OE and I've tried
everything. Have I lost them? Should I have exported them? What can I do?

Hi Jeff,

Why don't you just ask that question in the Outlook newsgroups, this one is
only for MS Access. ;-))

Jeff,

You have to copy all your *.dbx files back to the OE folder as it is setup
now. Make sure you change the attributes of all files to read/write. Then
open OE. I havent used OE for sometime, but within OE you can find what
folder OE uses for the *.dbx files.
