Unattend on RIS???

Dan

I have setup a RIS server and created an image with all
the applications and patches. I also created an
unattend.txt file. So, my question is how do I get the
image to use the unattend file and where do I place it???
Thanks, Dan

You have to run AD users and computers and then edit the
Remote Install properties of the RIS server. Once their,
go to the advanced properties and then to the images tab.
On the images tab, choose to add an answer file to the
existing image and a wizard will start that helps you do
that.

RIS doesn't use the Unattend.txt file. On the RIS server open the
RemoteInstall directory, then drill down
[drive]:\RemoteInstall\Setup\English\Images\[Image name]\i386\Templates
directory. For an image created with RISETUP (a cd-based image), the file
is called ristndrd.sif, for a RIPREP image, the file is called riprep.sif.
