UnableTo Connect With ICA After Installing Rollup 1 for Windows 2k

I m facing some problem with Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4.

I have Citrix Metaframe XPe setup for some applications my remote users use
these application through citrix.
I have updated windows 2-3 days back and after updating windows my users are
unable to use applications through citrix.Whenever they try to open
application through citrix ica client, ica session recieves a blank blue
screen.
i removed Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 from one
server,after removing this update they are able open the application. I
removed this update from all citrix servers now my users are able to open
applications through ica client.
But when i scan my network for security holes it gives result there are some
holes in citrix servers, there was no holes before removing this update.

Now i have two problems that i have to secure my servers and i have run
citrix aplications as well as.

Can anybody suggest me what should i do in this scenario. is there any
substitute of Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4

Re-install Rollup 1 for W2K SP4 to fix the security hole.
Then install the Citrix hotfix to fix the ica connection problem.

Hi Vera

Thanks a ton, you suggest me the right way. Your suggestion helped me lot.
But Vera when i try to install this citrix hotfix it gives an error "The
upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer service because
the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade patch may update a
different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded
exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgraded patch."

I tried this command also "msiexec /P XE104W2KR01.MSP /q" but it is not
getting installed please suggest me what should i do.

Exactly which version of Citrix are you running?
From the readme file for the Citrix hotfix:

"This hotfix can be applied only to a Windows 2000 Server with
MetaFrame XP Version 1.0 with Feature Release 3 and Service Pack 4
installed"

Note: that's *Citrix* Service Pack 4 for Citrix XP (on top of FR3,
and Microsofts SP4 for W2K).
If you are running the above and it still doesn't work, you could
enable verbose installer logging to see what the problem is:
