Unable to view (preview) or access photos.

Unable to view (preview) photos using my wife's account. Photos downloaded from camera to common shared directory. She can see the names & locations, but can't view or email photos from shared directory. Photos burned to CD she can access w/ no problem. Photos downloaded using my admin account. Have turned all sharing of folders on - though they should've been shared network resources to begin with - but still no luck.. I keep trying to convince her that it is easy to send pix to grandma!!!

Hi,

Do you have encryption set on this common shared folder? Encryption is only
available if the drive is formatted with NTFS. If it is encrypted then
user1 who created this file will be the only person who can view the image.
Other users can see the file name but they won't be able to view it. Open
the property page for the shared folder and then click on the 'Advanced...'
button near the bottom of the dialog. Check the state of the 'Encrypt
contents to secure data' checkbox.
