Unable to view pictures from CD...but only from one XP Profile

A

Andy

I have some family pictures saved to CD.

On my wife's Windows XP profile the CD spins, Windows Explorer comes up and
I can see all the image files in thumbnail view. Everything works splendidly.

But wait, there is more.

After switching users to my profile (just a switch, not a soft/hard boot0.
The CD spins, the drive comes up in windows exporer, but NOTHING show up. It
doesn't give me an error message (i.e. No Disc, blank disc, etc, etc,
etc)...it just doesn't show me that anything is on the disc.

As this is actually a profile issue....I can't seem to find the specific
tech support anywhere.

Any ideas?

Two ideas...good luck...

If you can go to...My Computer and access the
CD from there...you may need to check your
AutoPlay settings.

Or...you may have a corrupted profile.
