Problems with burning pictures to CD.....

Recently noticed, on two separate computers, one running Vista and one XP,
that certain pictures after being burned onto a CD, will not show up now on
the computer when you go to view them. It states that the file is still
there and shows the size properties of the file but some pictures will not
generate a preview...as if the association is gone???

What is happening with this.....any thoughts???
