When I try to upgrade recommended new upgrades KB83284, Kb832483, KB832028 and KB832035 I get the following message: " X The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatability with WIndows XP" any suggestions?
thanks

These are "Recommended Updates" from the Windows Updates site?

If they are, you don't need them unless there is some reason that they
really would apply to your system and help. IMHO, I only download and
install their Security updates (no matter), and Critical updates (after
reading what these particularly fix) from there.

Hi,

Go here:
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/

In the second section, "trouble downloading/installing a software
(nondriver) update", your problem is discussed. There are several possible
resolutions, though the most likely one is to rename the catroot2 subfolder.
