* OS: Using WXP Home edition.
* Process: Downloading/Installing service packs via “Windows Updateâ€

* Problem: I am getting the following error message which will not allow me to install any of the windows service packs

“Error message: The software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing to verify its compatibility with Windows XP. This software will not be installed. Contact your administratorâ€

Hi,
Did you check your PC settings thru:
Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Hardware/Drivers Signing.
Could it be on "BLOCK"?
It may have repercussions elsewhere.
