Installing Windows Media Player 10

I download Windows Media Player 10 from Microsoft Site.
but while i install it i receive the following Message Box, that tell me
that the software not passed the Windows logo testing and the software will
not be installed.

I running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2

Message Box Complete Text:
Title: Software Installation
Body:
The software you are installing has not passed windows Logo testong to
verify its compatibility with Windows XP. (Tell me why this testing is
important.)

This software will not be installed. Contact your system administrator.

When you use the Windows Update Web site to install updates, the installation
fails and the Windows Update.log file contains error 80070643.
