Unable to Update Definitions

I have installed Windows Defender (Beta 2). But am not able to update it.
On the home page it shows definitions havent been updated in 258 days. When
i click on the check now on the home page, it tell me no updates available.
So i tried windows update. There it did show me updates related to defender
(KB915597). But was not able to install it and showed the fail msg.
