Unable to send test message

Yesterday the test message worked fine now today:

When sending a test e-mail form the "test account setting" button I receive
this message: Unable to send test message please verify e-mail address
filed. I've looked at the e-mail fields and they are fine.

Any ideas please Andy.

PS this is a new computer and I'm try to get it work as my old one so I'm
able to check the set up on my old comupter thas works fine and the settings
"seem" the same but the new computer wont work today.

Sorry I should have said I'm using Outlook 2003 and XP on a brand new Sony
computer
