unable to see photos in certain websites

unable to view photos in certain websites, just screen names and dialogue.
Some websites responded by mail telling me to delete temporary
files/cookies-didn't work, my internet provider walked me thru downloading
macromedia8..still didnt fix problem..tried deleting files to free up memory,
still doesnt work. tried ajusting security settings time and time again.
Sometimes clicking "refresh" on certain sites restores partial photos for
that particular page but not fully. Only had computer for 2weeks, brand new
dell, 1st 3 or 4 days never had this problem, other than that,
connection/speed is functioning properly, help pleease!! thanx!

i have the same problem i cant see pictures in certain websites. It show a
box with a lil red X in the top corner. i tryed many thing nothing
works..... i need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
