I recently got this card and i am trying to get it working. I have install
the software, i can se my network, gets a ip address + other dhcp config.
But trying to contact a web site hangs trying to resolve the site address. I
had this before installing a PCI card and I had to remove the ehternet card
for it to start routing over the wifi, once that was done it worked okay,
that was on 98se now i am on xp pro sp1. Any ideas.

Cheers jon

If you are failing to resolve names, it sounds like a dns
issue. Run ipconfig /all from a command window and see
what dns settings you pc is using - is it picking up dns
addresses from the router? If not, you may have to set
them manually in the "Local area connection" properties.

Checked ipconfig and it is picking up dns server address, just cannot
resolve name.

can you ping any websites by name? If you have a friend
or colleague who uses different DNS servers, try entering
those server addresses in your DNS settings to see if it
is a problem with the dns server itself. Also, empty the
history/cookies/temporary files folders to make sure that
you aren't getting a negative cached lookup
