Unable to publish to remote web site after SP2 upgrade

I had no problems before. Now, when I try to publish to the remote web site
via FP2003 I immediately get the "Click 'Remote Web Site Properties...' to
set up a remote web site." Doing that and entering my remote web site
address gives me the "unable to open" popup.

I tried reinstalling the FP extensions via my remote website's cpanel. I
tried adding FrontPage to the windows firewall program exceptions list. I
tried disabling the firewall completely. None of those things solved my
problem. I still cannot publish to my remote web site.

Any ideas as to what I should try next?

I hadn't, but I have now, with the exception of:

14. If the problem persists, ask your host to stop and restart the remote
Web server.
15. If the problem persists, ask your host to run Check And Fix (or Server
Health) the remote Web site.
16. If the problem persists, ask your host to reboot the server.

What would be the odds of my remote server host having a problem at exactly
the same time as I installed SP2 and immediately have this problem? I'm
pretty sure that the problem is on my end, as I have read some posts that
confirm others are experiencing the same inability to publish to their remote
sites after an SP2 install. Sadly, I haven't read where they found a
solution. So, I'm still open to any ideas of how to fix this problem.

Any ideas?

I finally solved the problem! I deleted SP2.
