Unable to open IE with programs like MSN Money and Help and Suppor

..Since I installed sp2 I am unable to use my programs to open IE. Programs
like Weatherbug, Zone Alarm, AdAware, the Help And Support Center ect. If IE
is already open these programs will take me to their web page. If IE is not
open only a completely blank IE page comes up and then nothing. Anyone know
anything about this? Thanks
