Do you mean you get "Page Cannot Be Displayed"
when you try to log on to your hotmail account?

Are you able to bring up this site?:
https://www.microsoft.com

If the first answer is Yes and the second answer No,
then I suggest you try this article:

HOW TO: Troubleshoot Situations Where You Cannot Complete
MSN Sign-up or Connect to SSL Secured (128-Bit) Web Sites
by Using Internet Explorer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;813444

If this does not address your issue, then please clarify exactly
what is going on with your hotmail account.

Hi
I think the firewall is built in the hardware (the 4 port router switch). I am able to login to my hotmail account but unable to access the inbox. I have the same problem with the yahoo as well. I can connect to secured sites also and have used credit card info on these sites. This is occuring when I use the internet via the router switch. When I directly connect it to the DSL modem it is working fine for the inbox as well. I am unable to understand the problem. Is there a way to disable the hardware firewall? Thanks in advance

Sounds like you will need to contact the router manufacturer or
find the answer on their web site or in the manual provided.
