Unable to open attachments

Hi Im unable to open attachments in email have check all settings and still
unable to do so, computer tries to but nothing happens ?????

See point 1 here (which also applies to WinMail):
www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#1 Also check for any 3rd party programs that may
be blocking the opening of the attachments. You might also try saving them
first and then opening them.

Do you have IE8 installed?

If so: Is the latest patch for IE8 ( Cumulative Security Update for
Internet Explorer 8 in Windows Vista (KB972260) - 7/28/2009)[1]
installed too?

The latter fixes the attachment problem known as "IE8-WinMail bug".
