Hi,
I have a client with WinXP SP3 which is member in a W2000 domain. When
connected to the office LAN there is no problem. But outside the domain the
users roaming profile doesn't load or takes ages (like over night) to load.
In the event log there is a post saying that a WAM service tried to start
and after that nothing happens.
Searching the Internet I find that WAM stands for Web Application Manager
and is related to IIS. But this client doesn't have IIS installed.
So there is two questions:
A. What is WAM?
B. Why doesn't the profile load?
