profile -> local to domain

A machine with a single user local account and I am adding them to the
domain. After they were added to the domain, I logged on as
administrator(tried both local and domain) but the option to copy the users
local profile to the user domain profile is not available. I do have the
option to copy the user domain profile to the user local profile but I am
after the reverse.
So what's the method to copy a local to a domain profile?
