unable to install printer hp1000 on server over network

i have a PC Server with OS windows 2000 pro. On one of
my PC coonected on the netowrk, is installed a printer hp
1000 with OS win98.

i am not able to install this printer to be able to print
from my server to the client PC over the network.

Hello,
have you installed a W98 driver on your print server? You can also
install drivers locally on a PC, i.e. if you already have the driver
available for 2000 machines on your print servers and all set up with
IP address, a.s.o. Simply select the printer on the print server and
at the prompt install the driver locally. Had that happen with some
NT4 machines where I could not get the driver to work under 2000.
