I need to install Internet Information Services on my Win XP Pro machine.
Problem is XP came preinstalled on this machine and I don't have XP Pro
installation disk but just some lame "recover disks" . Installation wizard is
asking me to point to "XP Pro setup disk". Where can I find downloadable ISS
setup files? I'm looking for reputable source (microsoft.com maybe?)

That are no "downloadable" files for installing IIS.
You need to contact your computer manufacturer
and ask for support assistance.

You'll need to get an XP install disk. I've found that an OEM CD works for
reinstalls in your context, but for IIS install probably any XP CD should
work.

Another good reason to not buy systems with only restore CDs.. .

I had to borrow friend's disk just to do that. But be warned it has to be XP
SP2 to work. I had to make a slipstreamed copy. Why do the OEMs torture their
customers by supplying useless "Recovery Disks" instead of normal OS disks?
My HD came loaded with useless crap (no, I dont use AOL - do not put it on
my ne PC). Took me several hours to weed out all useless software form My HD.
