My other computer never gave me a logon screen before, and
then, a few days ago, it started loading one when it was
started up. My name is there, but when I click it, this
is what happens:
It loads the Windows background for less than a second,
then logs me off, saving my settings and returning me to
the logon screen. I've tried Safe Mode, using the last
known good configuration, and repairing Windows with the
XP installation CD. Nothing has worked.
How can I bypass the logon screen without being able to
access Windows or any of its commands? I know how to run
the Recovery Console, so maybe a better question is, how
do I use the Recovery Console to bypass the logon screen?
Any help is great. Thanks.
