Unable to download SP2

Has SP2 been withdrawn again?

Every time I try to download it, I am given an HTTP/404 message.

I am viewing
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...43-09b3-46d8-ba28-bc494bc20d26&displaylang=en
to get at the download, this then displays a message: "The download you
requested is unavailable. If you continue to see this message when trying
to access this download, you might try the "Search for a Download" area on
the Download Center home page." I got the link by searching MS Downloads,
but now I cannot even find it there!

On the rare occasion that the link does work, I click on the 'Download" link
on the right simply leads to page cannot be displayed message.

Suggestions?

Does that mean, I shouldn't go ahead with my application launch, using SP2?
Should I wait for the fixed version of SP2 or should I go ahead with SP1?

Though there wasn't any problems in my application running on SP 2, but what
sort of errors were reported, which forced Microsoft to withdraw this SP 2?

Any idea when do they plan to release it again.

Thanks & regards,
Asheesh

Hi Asheesh,

The .NET Compact Framework 1.0 SP2 redistributables have been temporarily
recalled while we investigate some issues with the release. See the
"exception with SqlDateTime in emulator with sp2" thread from earlier today.

We will release SP2 again once we have completed our investigation - at this
time we do not have ETA for the availability of SP2. Customers are advised
to rollback their .NET Compact Framework installations to SP1 by
uninstalling SP2 through the "Remove Programs" mechanism on their devices
and then installing SP1 from
http://msdn.microsoft.com/mobility/downloads/updates/default.aspx.

Keep an eye http://msdn.com/mobility for updates and information regarding
future SP2 availability.
