Unable to create folder named Trends

Weirdness.

Win XP Pro, all updates in place.
A coworker cannot name a folder "Trends".
She can create new folders, and rename them to anything but "Trends"
We tried different directories, and still same issue.

Any thoughts other then nuking the system?

Well, it'd be silly to nuke the system for that unless you have images you
can use. What's chances "trends" is a keyword for something loaded up on
the computer?
What EXACTLY is the error message that comes up?
