When I choose "File", "Capture Vides" from the menu bar I get erro message
"The vieo device is currently in use. Close any other application this is
using the device and try again." amd following that one I get "The video
device cannot be used at this time because there has been an error when
starting the device" I'm using an ATI AIW 7500 with XP pro.

I have the same bug with ATI AIW128, on XP pro SP2. When I use Nero vision
express, it's the same bug! But, with virtualdub, it's ok.

I'm trying to capture a personal video with magnetoscope. It is connected
with the special modul with inch plug (red/white/yellow!).

What is magnetoscope, from my searches it appears to be a vhs player???
If so, MM does not recognise an analogue input, it only recognises firewire.
You will need either other software or hardware.
Please correct me if I'm wrong about the magnetoscope.

You're right about magnetoscope. I bought a cam with firewire....it's ok now!
Thank you very much for your help.
