Unable to backup System State

XP Backup will not backup the System State.An error is
occurring while the volume shadow copy is being created. I
am unable to disable the shadow copy option.

after you choose start backup, the next screen has a
advanced button , change it there.

In XP Home the ASR Floppy Disk does not work . It will
NOT
backup to a CD. You can back up to a folder on your
hard drive then burn it to a CD. The native program in XP
will not span CD's though.

You can cheat it with a packet writing program like Roxio
Direct CD (comes with Easy CD Creator ) Or Nero
InCD or DLA You then use a CD ( will not Span cd's) or
DVD's (4.7+ gb) to back up too.
