Unable Remote Assitance outside my netowrk

3 PC's at home through Linksys router (1 wired, 2 wireless). I can get Remote Assistance (RA) and Remote desktop to work fine inside my network, however unable outside. I've opened port 3389. I've even tried going direct through the modem at both ends (no router). Error on my end as Expert - "Remote desktop connection disconnected. Please try again." Error on other end as Expert "Could not resolve host name." Running out of ideas.

As far as Remote Desktop is concerned are you calling the correct public IP for the router? To test
if TCP Port 3389 is in fact opened try this telnet test...

For the Remote Assistance problem...Is UPnP enabled on the router? Its also possible you might need
to modify the RCTICKET field in the invitation file if your using the email or file method for
invitations...

Otherwise make sure the Linksys router, whatever model you have, has the latest firmware version
installed.
