Connecting Remote desktop tutorial

Can someone point me at a SIMPLE tutorial for setting up Remote Desktop,
through a Linksys wireless router

I understand I have to enable Remote Desktop on both computers (inside and
outside) and that I have to "port forward" (?) the IP address to the
"inside" computer.

What port# ?

Is that all that is required ?

Many Thanks

Basically, you need forward port 3389 to inside computer running remote
desktop. This how to may help too.
