TY. You were absolutely correct. I had several offers of solution, but
yours was the most specific, informative and concise, not to mention the
most accurate. I spoke with Verizon and they set me up with a new smtp. I
figured I would then deal with Cox to see how I could recieve mail, but it
seems at least for the time being, it has fixed both problems.
