in my ACER 1690, they appear. I´m trying with the Official repesentative of
ACER in Montevideo, but they aplied formatl in april 15, with the same
result. At first, the notebook ACER 6930, worked very good. But with de
updates, that dayly are sent, appear the problem. Realy I,m thinking to sell
the notebook an buy another one that perhaps works well.
I chechek the setting of my noteboo, is the same Vista Home Premium that the
one y bougt for my Desk PC, and are de same, checked pointo by point.
I don´t now what todo. Can you help me?

That's not a send error, it is a receive error.
'Invalid command' in this case probably means you tried to use an option
that the server does not support.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account, Properties, Servers.
Make sure that "Log on using Secure Password Authentication" is not enabled.

It sounds like you normally use webmail. Why not use webmail to send your
reply to the Craigslist ad? All you need to do is copy and paste the email
address from the ad to the To box in a new webmail message.

I have everything set up for my e-mails to get sent in from my AIM account
but when i go to send an e-mail this is what i get

Account: 'Windows Mail', Server: 'pop.aim.com', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR invalid command', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18

Please, Please, Please help me. I'm trying to respond to an ad on craiglist.

The response of mine you quoted was addressed to deal with a specific
problem experienced by Elizabeth Baumgartner. It isn't clear to me why
you thought the same solution would apply to *your* issue.

You haven't even described what your issue is, nor do I see a copy of
your error message. Without those, I can't help.
