two windows program on one computer

help help help i have windows 2000 prof on one side of partion in computer
so i wanted to ungrade to windows xp prof well instead of ungrading it went
to its own partion on the hard drive. Its like a virgin program no viris
proction no nothing like i have already downloaded on windows professional so
how do i get that windows xp off the get everything back in order here. Also
my add and remove program now doesn't work so i can't unstalled it like i
wanted to. also brought this computer use and do not have the installed disk
for windows 2000 could i format everything and then start out new on xp for i
do have that
