I had a problem and re installed windows xp home. When I
start computer it comes up with two winodows to chose from
One loads and has a system error. How to I get rid of the
one not operating. I think I might have two windows

Boot the computer into Windows and use Start - Run - MSCONFIG

Go to the BOOT.INI tab and click on the button to "Check all boot
paths".

If the problem persists then you do have two copies of Windows
installed. You will have to determine which folder the unwanted copy
of Windows is installed into and delete or rename this. Then go back
into MSCONFIG and repeat the above instructions.

Good luck
