Two weird features in FrontPage 2003

P

Peter Afonin

Hello,

I installed FrontPage 2003 and found two disappointing features versus FP
2002:

1. When I click "Preview in browser", it always opens a new window. I don't
like this. I tried to find an option to turn this off, but couldn't. Is
there a way to preview pages in the same window?

2. If I open, for instance, "Table Properties", the property window is so
big that with resolution 800x600 it's almost impossible to find "OK" or any
other buttons. It seems like Microsoft assumes that everybody is using at
least 1024x768 resolution. Is it possible to fix this somehow?

I would appreciate your help.

Thank you,

1. This is by design. To prevent, close the window when done with the
preview. This gives the possibility to view an older version of a page
side by side with a newer version.

2. only solution is to get a monitor capable of running 1024x768 or
higher.

Regards Jens Peter Karlsen. Microsoft MVP - Frontpage.

Surely MS Has changed the height of the Table Properties dialogue box. When
I tested the beta it was very difficult to click the OK button. When I
reported that here an MVP said he thought it was probably an oversight and
would be fixed in the final release.

Thank you. They'd better fix it!
