Two user profiles, but only one signature?

Outlook's Help file recommends two user profiles in the case of two
users sharing one computer. When I use different e-mail accounts
(e.g. business vs. personal) I want to have different signatures for
each. However, a "signature" setting made in one profile seems to
automatically show up in the others. How can I fix this, so that
each account has a different default signature?

I don't think this is possible. You don't mention your version of Windows,
but if using WinXP or 2k, you might be able to just set up two user logins,
each with its own Outlook profile....a little clumsy, but it might work for
you.

It's Windows XP. I considered two user logins at the Windows level,
but this is way too clumsy.

I thought the whole idea of separate Outlook profiles was to allow
different e-mail accounts to have different worlds -- different inboxes,
different signatures, etc. -- all for one logged-in Windows user.

It seems to be an incomplete implementation of what could otherwise
have been a good idea. Sigh.

I agree....

Yes.... I don't run into this because I don't use signatures, but that's
just me....sorry I can't be of more help.
