Two USB scanner support in XP

MS has acknowledged that you can't use two scanners simultaneously (Q324756).
Has anyone found a fix or is MS ever going to fix this problem?

I have had two installed simultaneously without incident. As for using two
at once, I am not that good at multi-taksing.

Not yet. Solution is to hook one to your notebook and one to your desktop.
Not very practical really, but many homes now have two or more PCs. I seem
to spend my life running between my six for one reason or another. Guess it
gives me exercise.

Thanks for the response. To clarify I have a Lexmark 83 MFP and an Epson
4180 scanner that I use for scanning slides and negatives. I am not really
using the scanning features of the Lexmark simultaneously, but would like to
use the printer and the epson scanner at the same time.
