two questions about daylight saving

E

Eric

I just got a new computer at work, so this is my 1st
experience with Outlook 2003. I added all the holidays,
then realized my computer is not set to automatically
adjust for Daylight Saving Time. When I changed this
setting, all of my holidays crossed 2 days from 11pm to
11pm. I went to re-add the holidays, and guess what, now
I have 2 sets!

First question, is there a way to delete ALL holidays and
start over?

Second, more generally, how does Outlook deal with DST
when some computers on our system might not be set with
the automatically adjust for DST?

Thanks! Eric

I can answer your first question. Change your view to "By Category", and
you should see all the holidays. Click on the first holiday, hold down your
shift key and click on the last one, then press the Delete key.

Hope that helps,
Debbie

Outlook doesn't have any real way of "dealing" with the DST issue...if you
don't have the DST setting the way you want it before an event is added, and
then you decide to change the DST setting, the event will be off by an hour,
and you'll have to manually change it.
