Calendar and Daylight Saving Time

On Outlook 2003, my appointments that are saved as "all day event" shift to a
two day duration 11:00 pm to 11:00 pm the next day during the daylight
savings time period.

This happens for holidays (installed by Outlook) and regular events such as
birthdays, etc.

This is annoying at best. Is there any way to correct this problem?

Windows XP, Outlook 2003, time adjusts for daylight savings time

did you install the DST update? Does it happen for all events or just
certain ones (like in march and nov)... if so, you do not have the DST
update installed. Use Microsoft update to install it.

I think I do have the update installed, since the events change March through
November continuously. I have automatic updats enabled, and the only one I
block is IE7.

And you have use daylight time enabled? Try unchecking it, pressing ok and
rechecking it. Unchecking should fix it for now but can create problems when
dst kicks in.

Oh... is it happening for only older items, only new items or both? If it
only happens with old items and its ok with new, it may be related to the
DST change - there is an update tool to fix existing items.
