DST calendar weirdness with Outlook 2000

Even after applying the daylight savings time patches through
automatic updates I am finding the following problems with my Outlook
calendar now that the time change has happened:

If the Outlook settings for "adjust for daylight savings time" box is
checked:

- all recurring appointments that started before March 11th have moved
themselves an hour later for the dates after March 11th

If I uncheck the Outlook settings for "adjust for daylight savings
time" (to fix that):

- the recurring appointments correct themselves, but...
- all one-time appointments move themselves back an hour
- all of my all-day event calendar appointments after March 11th
adjust themselves so that instead of being all day they now run from
11:00 PM on the day of the appointment to 11:00 PM of the NEXT DAY
(i.e. the span an extra day)!!!! They also display a clock symbol at
the beginning and end of the appointment bar. I went into customize
current view and made sure the "show time as clocks box" is not
checked off, but the clocks won't go away.

Is there any fix that will allow all appointment types to go back to
the way they were before these DST changes? Will uninstalling the DST
patch fix things?

Also, is Congressman Markey processing reimbursements for people's
time spent in having to deal with this nonsense?

(And can anyone remember for sure if my dentist appointment is at
12:30 or 1:30 tomorrow?)

Thanks,

Barry

Try installing tzmove.exe:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e343a233-b9c...

Only... it won't install for me :-(

If that doesn't help, read the (fine) manual:

Oops, I didn't read carefully, it seems you've already installed
tzmove.exe.

Sorry, I can offer no additional help; mine's broken, too.
